Toxicology III
Learning Goal: Familiarization with some toxicology concepts that are important in evaluating and characterizing the dose-response relationship.
This module continues your introduction to toxicology. It deals with the effect of chemicals on cells and how that in turn affects the whole body. It has two good sections on cancer and neurotoxicity. You should do the entire Tox Tutor III Lesson, but do not try to memorize all the details. Next week I hope to give you a toxicology vocabulary list, with notes on what details you have to know for your tests.
